Joan Therien grew up in Upstate New York. Her career has taken her to Boston, New Hampshire, Maine, and Oregon. She now lives in South Florida with her husband and two children.
Joan did her Masters work, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree, at State University
of New York, at New Paltz.
Joan has worked as an Art Teacher, Graphic Designer, and Shoe Design Manager. In
her career she has traveled to South and Central America, throughout Europe, Asia,
and the United States.
Joan creates Portraits, Figuratives, Landscapes, Sea Scapes, and Still Lifes.
